Background.

DK Solution contributed to the redevelopment of the App22 platform: a scalable environment for entrepreneurs, built from microservices on OpenShift.

The project focused on redeveloping a scalable entrepreneurs’ platform with microservices, video functionality, community features and recommendations.

Challenge.

The existing platform needed to become more scalable and easier to maintain.

It was important that the solution was not only technically sound, but also fitted the way users and stakeholders work every day. Clarity, reliability and maintainability were therefore guiding principles from the start.

Approach and solution.

A microservice architecture in Go on OpenShift, with Keycloak for secure identity and access management.

DK Solution worked step by step: first clarifying the requirements and the problem, then choosing a suitable setup and building and testing it in phases. This left room to adjust along the way and ensured the end result fitted everyday practice.
